There are many ways to serve within the church through our Ministry Teams. We separate these teams into two groups, Sunday Teams and Ongoing Opportunity Teams.
Sunday Opportunities
CommKids
Joining the CommKids team gives you the wonderful privilege of helping to make little disciples of Jesus! There are many roles to suit all comfort levels and training is provided.
Worship
This team leads the church in worshiping through song. Practices are normally on Saturday mornings.
Roadies
The Roadies team does the required set-up and tear down for our services on Sunday mornings.
First Impressions
The First Impressions team creates an inviting atmosphere on Sundays. The team serves by sanitizing prior to the service, welcoming new visitors, and helping direct people to seats.
Audio/Visual
This team serves the church by running sound and video during the service. Training is provided.
Parking
This team serves the church by helping people find parking upon arrival to Mountain View on Sunday mornings.
Ongoing Opportunities
Missions
The Missions team provides local and global missions opportunities for CCC members.
Team Mountain View
Prayer Team
The Prayer Team prays for our church, our leaders, individual needs, and our community.
Youth
We love our adopted school, Mountain View Elementary, and we have countless ways we serve the administration, teachers, and students.
Compassion Team
For those with the spiritual gift of mercy, we have a compassion team. This team is ready and willing to offer words of encouragement, meals, prayer, or the ministry of presence to those in our church who are suffering.
Hospitality Team
Our hospitality team welcomes visitors and people new to our church into their homes for a meal.
Are you in 6th-12th grade and interested in connecting with others your age? Or are you an adult interested in investing in our youth?
50 for 50 Team
For those with the spiritual gift of giving, we have a team we call 50 for 50. Our goal is to have 50 people ready to give $50 at any given point to help in a moment of crisis, either for someone in our midst or someone in our community.
Local Missions Team
The local missions team coordinates CCC's outreach in and around Charlottesville.
